FAQ

Roast days

We freshly roast our coffee every Friday, and ship the following Monday.

How are we eco-friendly

After nerding out on making our home Solar and Energy efficient, we wanted to translate those same principles to our business.

Traditionally coffee is roasted on huge gas powered roasters, and while they produce some exceptional coffee, it doesn't quite fit with our ethos. Therefore we opt to run our roasters on electricity, which can be run off clean energy or solar power. Not only does it help our planet, but it helps to keep costs down for our customers.

We also use C02 compensated coffee bags, and Eco-Friendly stickers from our friends over at Stickerit in Bristol.

We're always looking for new opportunities, if you have some suggestions or products, reach out to us at us@bigkid.coffee

Collection

We're unable to support collections, however we're planning to open our first Micro Roastery in the heart of Hereford City Center later this year

Lost or damaged delivery

We try our best to package and deliver beans so they arrive in one piece, but sometimes accidents happen. If you experience any issues please contact us via us@bigkid.coffee

Cancel order

Paid us already? Too bad! Just kidding, get in touch before Roast Day and we'll do our best to cancel and refund before dispatch.

Resting coffee

Like most speciality coffee, it tastes better after a few days rest.

This rest period allows the release of co2 trapped within the bean, and allows flavours to stabilise.

We recommend a ~5 day rest period, but if you can't wait, it's not the end of the world, it will just keep getting better throughout the week.
